Explore the sacred treasures of Native American and Celtic Spirituality. Discover an ancient common source of wisdom. Be inspired and nourished for today's world.
To be alive means to have movement!
A source of wisdom of both the ancient Celtic and Native American spiritual traditions is a reverence for the cyclical movements through the seasons. Correspondingly, the cycles of the inner life from birth to death were deeply honoured. It is what gives the heart a purpose in life, an orientation and a connectedness with something greater than self!
During our time together, we will explore the significance of the four elements of creation especially thorough the Medicine Wheel and the Celtic Calendar. We will help each other nurture a deeper appreciation of how this wisdom has been incorporated into themes which are present in the Christian Liturgical Year.
To be human means to connect!
Embark with your fellow travellers on a journey of reflection through the binding themes of the Celtic and Native American traditions. Through meditative walks we will connect with the sacred land that gives us life. Through the ancient mythological stories and oral traditions we connect our personal stories more deeply to a Greater Source of Wisdom. Through an experience of common rituals we may sense a more wholesome connection between mind, body and spirit and the connection between the inner and outer landscapes.

To be spiritual means to be open to what is!
These traditions teach us of the close connection and deep respect for the ancestors and all those who have gone before us. By exploring the teachings on initiation, rites of passage, and our closeness to The Otherworld, we may once again understand our many common contemporary rituals. Our sense of the sacredness of the cycle of life, death and rebirth, may open new visions to the present moments.
The inner landscape of the soul and the outer landscape of nature can never be separated. On this pilgrimage we will reflect on what these traditions have to teach us in relation to our own spiritual journey. By drinking from the deeper wells of a common wisdom we may return home with eyes that see more compassionately, ears that hear more wisely and a heart that does indeed love all of creation more deeply.
